Varanasi Temples & Spiritual Sites

Varanasi, known as the spiritual capital of India, is home to some of the most revered temples and sacred sites. The Kashi Vishwanath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is the most significant and attracts millions of devotees each year. Other important temples include the Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple, famous for its spiritual energy and devotion to Lord Hanuman, and the Durga Kund Temple, known for its striking red-colored structure and religious importance.

Apart from temples, Varanasi is also famous for its spiritual sites like Sarnath, where Lord Buddha delivered his first sermon, making it an important pilgrimage for Buddhists. The Kal Bhairav Temple, dedicated to the fierce form of Lord Shiva, is believed to be the protector of the city.
